welcome to mochaa
mochaa offers support to mothers and families of children with special needs.
mochaa attends conferences and local special education activities in order to reach out to gain new members as well as to raise community awareness of the needs of the special needs parent.

Currently, most of the services available are providing direct support for special needs children but the parental support is just as necessary and critical for the success of these families as a whole.  A parent who feels alone and ostracized is not able to properly care for their child with special needs.

Parents need to feel the support and togetherness that can only be provided by other special needs parents.  We are all in this together.  mochaa is always working on outreach, recruiting, awareness and finding new ways to find parents who are receiving the devastating diagnosis that their child has autism and whose life is about to be completely re-arranged.

mochaa works with local schools and professionals to reach out to newly diagnosed parents, or parents who are feeling alone and in need of more support in their life.  Additional funding through fundraising will allow continued attendance, and attendance at more functions and additional outreach will be attainable.
